Pastor
Pastor Phil Kramer grew up as a small-town Iowa boy. He moved to the Des Moines metro to study the Bible at Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary, where he would eventually earn both undergraduate and graduate degrees. It was while he attended Faith that he became a member of Norwoodville Baptist Church in the fall of 1999. He later became the pastor of the church in 2007.
Pastor Phil married his wife Kayla in 2014. They have been blessed with two young children. They enjoy taking walks, playing in the back yard, and going on day trips to visit Iowa’s 99 county seats. Some of Pastor Phil’s interests are books and libraries, ancient languages, as well as outdoor work.
Pastor Phil is committed to expository preaching and teaching. He also encourages Scripture memorization and the public and private reading of the Word. In addition, he emphasizes the importance of both prayer and evangelism in the believer’s life.
